Susan and I, Rick Case, are Hawk Valley Angus. We have been raising high quality Registered Black Angus cattle on this farm since 1980. Go to our website at www.hawkvalleyangus.com to find out more about us and our philosophy of raising quality Angus breeding stock cattle.

Several of our long time customers have retired or decided to stop raising beef cattle. With that said, we sill have three very nice bulls that are not spoken for. Here is some information on the three remaining ones.

Tag #309: is A.I. sired by “Bar R Jet Black 5063” out of an up and coming first calf heifer. He weighed 88# at birth and has a calving ease EPD of +6 which classifies him as a calving ease bull. Other EPD’s of importance are Weaning Weight of +74, Yearling Weight of +131. He has a power stacked three generation pedigree that contains 7 American Angus Association Pathfinder animals.

Tag #310: is A.I. sired by the very popular and famous “Basin Payweight 1682”. He is out of one of our older, proven cows who was sired by “Gardner Angus Ranch Prophecy”. His birth weight was 76# and he is an extreme calving ease bull with a calving ease EPD of +10. His birth weight EPD is -0.7 with a milk EPD of +35. Six Pathfinder animals are in his three generation pedigree.

Tag #314: is out of the “Mill Coulee Growth Fund 107” bull and a second calf heifer. Birth weight of 86# coupled with a Calving Ease EPD of +11. Another great heifer and adult cow bull. His 205 day adjusted weight from our American Angus Herd Improvement Records was 637# On the average our 205 weights were down just short of 100# due to the extreme drought conditions our farm suffered last summer.

All three of these bulls are considered to be calving ease and are all very docile and laid back around people They have been semen tested and their reproductive tracts have been examined and passed. We offer 100 miles of free delivery.

Call to find out more and to get to know us better. We are located 2.8 miles West of Ontario Wi. off of state highway 33. Opera Road is a dead end that feeds out onto hwy 33 from the North and is 0.33 miles long ending in our farmstead. Better yet, set up a visit to meet us, see our cattle and the bulls. Many also find our facilities to be of interest.
