Senior owned, purchased new from an authorized Larrivee dealer in 2016 from a very limited run of black walnut orchestra models ("OM-03W") that Larrivee made in 2015. I've seen less than a handful of these on the market since, at much higher prices, and most were for sale overseas.
All solid wood (as are all Larrivee guitars) with Sitka spruce top, quartersawn black walnut back and sides, one-piece mahogany neck with compound radius, and maple binding around the body, along the neck and on the heel cap. Impeccable craftsmanship (as are all Larrivee guitars...). Satin finish. Bone nut (1 3/4), saddle (Bob Colosi), and pins. The Sitka has aged to a darker hue, closer in appearance to cedar. It's a gorgeous guitar.
Excellent condition with just some minor fret wear. Comes with the original Larrivee hardshell case. From a smoke-free home.
$1350 cash, FIRM. No trades. Include a phone number to separate your message from spam. If this ad is posted, the guitar is still available. Will only respond to serious inquiries.
Someone asked for a description of the sound of the guitar. This video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxJi27u9xpg&t=1s) of an all-walnut Larrivee is the best example I could find. The Sitka/walnut is much closer to this than to the "Moon Spruce"/walnut OMs videos that are online. I owned a Moon Spruce/Zebrano Larrivee and prefer the warmth of the Sitka/walnut combination.
