A full-time program director position is available in the La Crosse area. This position is responsible for overseeing state-licensed adult family homes, making certain the safety and well-being of the clients are held to CCLS standards, and ensuring compliance with state regulations. This is a full-time position responsible for programs and supports in the La Crosse area.

-Acts as liaison with all ancillary agencies regarding supports undertaken by CCLS.
-Writes and/or approves individualized service plans.
-Evaluates referrals for placement, and provides input regarding appropriate placement, as assigned.
-Supervises the implementation of behavior support plans in compliance with Behavior Support Plan policy.
-Maintains parent/guardian contact as necessary. Assumes responsibilities when there is no direct line supervisor.
-Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates all direct line supervisors.
-Reviews and authorizes all schedules, timesheets, and overtime.
-Plans and conducts individual and group supervisory meetings on a regular basis.
-Participates in the region's emergency on-call system.
-Attends program staff meetings and observes staff and client interaction at least quarterly.
-Performs monthly program observations to include the addendum to this job description.
-Screens and submits requests for major expenses to area director.
-Assists area director in preparation of yearly budgets, and operates within the approved budget.
-Serves as designee of CCLS in securing licenses, requesting variances, and starting plans of correction for licensing purposes, as assigned.
-Implements and upholds all CCLS policies and procedures and mission statement.
-Submits all required paperwork on time.
-Coordinates and develops new programs in conjunction with the area director as assigned.

Recommended Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree plus one year of supervisory experience in the field of developmental disabilities or a related field as deemed appropriate. - or- Four years supervisory experience in the field of developmental disabilities or related field as deemed appropriate.
-Demonstrates sound communication, leadership/coaching, and organizational skills.
-Has an acceptable criminal record
-Has acceptable pre-placement drug screening results.
-Holds a valid driver's license with an acceptable driver's record, access to a vehicle during work hours, and proof of insurance
