As I approach my 80th year I am finding the need to trim down my herd of Guernsey X Red Angus cattle. I would prefer to sell them as a lot of 12 or so, rather than individually, except maybe for the fresh milking cows. Mostly they are yearling heifers and bulls. There are four heifer calves and a couple of older calves. I have been direct marketing them as organically fed pasture beef ever since I quit milking my small herd of Guernseys several decades ago when I bred some Red Angus into the herd. I am not sure what to ask for them, so I will consider reasonable offers. This has been a closed, healthy herd for nearly 40 years, and it breaks my heart to sell off my "family" but I figure the time is right and prices are good, so help me out here and give these animals a decent home. Come see them and make me an offer! I do not text!
